Open **Analytics** for a project-level view, then choose the source that can answer your question.

## Choose a data source

| Area | Question to answer | What to do next |
| - | - | - |
| AI search | Are assistants mentioning the brand, and does AI traffic convert? | Compare tracked answers with visits and conversions. |
| Google search | Which queries and pages attract organic clicks? | Compare impressions, position, and CTR before editing a page. |
| Attribution | Which sources and pages contribute to outcomes? | Check the selected conversion events and engagement. |
| Reports | How do I share a repeatable view of these results? | Create a report with the intended filters and date range. |

## Keep comparisons consistent

Set the date range and review active filters before comparing views. Search Console and Google Analytics measure different events; their totals do not have to match. AI answer tracking is also separate from AI referral traffic. Check data-source connections when a panel is unavailable.

Use Technical for crawl and indexing investigations, Crawler logs for observed AI bot visits, and Strategy or Planning to turn findings into work.
