Open the data-sources detail from Strategy when a recommendation is incomplete, surprising, or based on a small sample. This page explains the evidence used in Strategy; it is separate from the connection controls in Project settings. The screenshot uses illustrative local data.

## Data readiness

Check each source’s status, observation time, scope, and limitations. Search Console describes your own website’s performance. Page-level AI citation evidence may not yet be analyzed. Missing evidence should not be interpreted as zero performance or a confirmed gap.

## Competitor evidence

Compare discovered URLs with the in-scope, classified, HTML-analyzed, and entity-observed samples. These counts answer different questions. A large sitemap with few analyzed pages is not complete competitive coverage.

Use the last scan and evidence basis to judge freshness. Review the underlying competitor pages before committing to a topic or page format. Resolve missing connections or incomplete scans before making a large content plan.
