Organization billing showing team seat usage and projects-and-plans billing table
Use this page to monitor billing health and prevent member invite blockers.

Questions this page should answer

  1. How close are we to member seat limits?
  2. Which projects are trialing, active, or at risk?
  3. How do we buy more member seats when limits are reached?

Before you use this page

  • In the app, open Organization settings and select Billing.
  • Confirm you have billing write access.
  • Check whether your workspace is on per-project billing.

What this page controls

  • Team member seat usage summary.
  • Additional seat purchase and quantity update flow.
  • Projects and plans table for plan/status auditing.
  • Per-project Manage billing actions.

How to read the seat section

The seat area shows:
  • Current used seats (X of Y seats in use).
  • Utilization percentage bar.
  • Breakdown between seats included in project plans and separately purchased additional seats.
Use this as your capacity signal before inviting members.

Buy more members (additional seats)

Buy additional users dialog with seat quantity input and continue to checkout action
When you click Buy additional seats, the dialog lets you purchase extra workspace member seats.

How it works

  1. Enter Number of seats.
  2. Review the computed total (price per seat x quantity).
  3. Click Continue to checkout.
  4. Complete payment in checkout.
  5. Return to billing; seat capacity updates and additional seats are reflected in usage.

What changes after purchase

  • New seats increase invite capacity for workspace members.
  • Seat totals are added on top of seats included by project plans.
  • Member invitation flows stop blocking once total capacity is above current usage.

If additional seats already exist

Billing can open a Change quantity flow instead of purchase:
  • You can increase or decrease additional seat quantity.
  • The dialog enforces a minimum when your current member count requires it.
  • Updated quantity changes recurring additional-seat cost and available capacity.

Projects and plans table

Use Projects and plans to audit:
  • Plan tier per project.
  • Max users and monthly AI credits.
  • Payment status (Active, Trialing, etc.).
  • Next billing date.
  • Row-level Manage billing actions.

Quick weekly checklist

  1. Check seat utilization and remaining headroom.
  2. Buy or increase additional seats before onboarding waves.
  3. Scan project rows for non-active payment states.
  4. Review near-term renewal dates.

Keep in mind

  • Invite failures are often seat-capacity issues, not permission bugs.
  • Capacity is the sum of project-plan seats plus additional purchased seats.
  • Billing behavior can differ between workspace-level and per-project models.
